Enjoy outdoor activities through all four seasons

Wilmington’s weather is unbeatable. Winters tend to be mild enough that the beaches can still be enjoyed a few times during the season and the city rarely experiences a dusting of snow. Spring begins early with daffodils blooming in the early February and azaleas exploding during mid-March. Summer is a long, luxurious season and beach goers can be found sunning themselves as early as April and as late as October. Fall approaches appropriately around Thanksgiving-time and doesn’t relinquish to winter’s chilly nights until after the New Year.

July is the warmest month, with an average daily high of 89 degrees and January is the coolest month with an average daily high of 56 degrees and a low of 35 degrees.
