Dear Landfall Residents,
The Connor Barth Celebrity Golf Tournament will be held on Monday, April 29, 2024, at the Country Club of Landfall’s Marsh and Ocean Courses beginning at 9:00AM. We wanted you to be aware that in conjunction with this event, a helicopter will be landing on the soccer field located at Landfall’s Drysdale Recreation Site between approximately 8:00AM and 8:30AM on the morning of the event. The helicopter will remain parked at the Recreation Site for the duration of the golf tournament. Once the golf tournament has ended, the helicopter will take off from the same location. During the time that the helicopter is in the Landfall community, please be cautious and avoid the helicopter’s parking area at the Drysdale Recreation Site as this will be considered to be a restricted area during the event.
For those residents who live near/frequent the area of the Recreation Site or enter/exit via the Drysdale Security Gate, you may see the low flying helicopter. Likewise, you may possibly hear the helicopter upon landing and upon takeoff in the morning and again after the conclusion of the golfing event.
Landfall Security will be onsite and aid in securing the Drysdale Recreation Site area in preparation for the helicopter’s arrival and departure. We appreciate your understanding and apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause you.
