We hope that this email finds you and your family having a great 2024.
In updating you on the progress of the AT&T Fiber Optic install project, AT&T is reaching completion of the planning and design/fielding phase. The next steps will be installation of the the new fiber cabinets and the order in which they will be built has now been determined. Likewise, the preliminary “build out” schedule for the fiber installation has also been provided to the Landfall COA by AT&T.
An important component of these schedules is dependent on when AT&T receives the materials from their vendors; as a result, these schedules are subject to change. However, at this time, the initial install timeline schedules for the fiber cabinets and the build out are as follows:
New Fiber Cabinets and Estimated Date of Completion
1) Military Cutoff Road – This Cabinet Install is Complete
2) Odyssey Drive – April 2024
3) Pembroke Jones Drive – April 2024
4) Deer Island Drive – May and June 2024 (3 Cabinets Required)
5) Arboretum Drive – June and July 2024
Neighborhood Build Out of Fiber
1) Military Cutoff Road – June and July 2024
2) Odyssey Drive – June and July 2024
3) Pembroke Jones Drive – August 2024
4) Deer Island Drive – September and October 2024
5) Arboretum Drive – November 2024
At this time, we have not received the maps to determine the exact route and timeline for each area, so the information provided above should be considered estimates. However, from the information given, it is clear that the installation will start near the Eastwood Security Gate and will proceed throughout the Landfall community, concluding at the Arboretum Security Gate.
Even though the dates provided are subject to change, AT&T has expressed to the Landfall COA their commitment to finishing this build out by the end of 2024.
