LANDFALL NEWS

Post Hurricane Dorian 1

September 6, 2019

The Landfall COA has had an opportunity to survey the property this morning.  The majority of Landfall has fared very well. We have performed our roadway evaluation, and the roadways are acceptable for travel.  Therefore, outside contractors are allowed entry once authorized by a resident.

We have noticed some downed trees and limbs, but mostly there is a lot of loose debris.  Please be reminded that loose debris, if bagged, must be placed in paper bags.  There will be a charge of $10 per plastic bag of vegetative debris that is left curbside.

We will only be collecting storm related vegetative debris that has been placed adjacent to the curbs and out of the road right of ways beginning today.  For those of you that are cleaning up your property yourselves and not hiring a contractor, please have your debris placed curbside by Wednesday, September 11.  For those of you that will have a contractor clean your property, please remind them that they must bring your debris to the COA facility and not be left curbside.  Hurricane clean up contractors will be allowed to work tomorrow, Saturday 7th from 7:00AM until 6:00pm and Sunday, September 8th from 8:00AM until 3:00PM.  Beginning Monday, September 9th, normal contractor hours will resume.

It is expected that the COA will complete the storm related clean up by next Saturday, September 14.  Vegetative debris as a result of pruning will not be picked up.

If you would like to contract with COA Maintenance for assistance in debris removal, you may contact the COA Maintenance office at 910-256-7604 or by email at maintenance@landfall.org and we will be happy to assist you.

Thank you.
