Dear Landfall Residents,
You may have noticed the land use meeting sign that has been placed along Arboretum Drive near the Helmsdale II development. The City of Wilmington has notified us that this land use hearing has been delayed. This sign will be updated once the new meeting date is determined. However, the design change under consideration is to eliminate road access from South Moorings Drive and Winchester Terrace. If you have specific questions regarding this design change, please contact the City of Wilmington at (910) 254-0900.
The City of Wilmington Technical Review Committee (TRC) will also hold a meeting on Thursday, November 17, 2022 at 9:30a.m., in the City Council Chambers located at 102 North 3rd Street, 2nd floor. The purpose of this meeting is to review a proposed Element by Marriott hotel to be located at 1055 International Drive, just off Military Cutoff Road. This project is shown to be a six-story hotel with 139 units.
Unfortunately, the TRC meetings do not allow for public comment and are not open to the public, but the link to the meeting is included so that you can listen to the meeting if you would like. The meeting link is available via Microsoft Teams as follows:
