Hello Landfall Residents,
We know that there are lots of fun plans being made for Halloween here in the Landfall community! As always, Safety of our Residents and their Guests is always paramount to Landfall Security and the LCOA. Since the festivities are just a few days away, we wanted to again REMIND you of Landfall’s guidelines around this event:
Trick or Treating Hours & Participation Procedures
If you wish to have your children participate in trick-or-treating this October 31, please do so within the hours of 5:30pm and 8:00pm. If you will be providing treats, please make sure that your garage and porch lights are on. If you do not wish to participate, please keep your garage and porch lights off. Anyone participating in the Halloween festivities must respect the property and privacy of those residents who are not. In Landfall, one of the most valued characteristics of the community is quiet enjoyment so let’s all work together so that everyone can enjoy the evening.
Halloween Guest Authorization
Please ensure that all non-owner guests that you are authorizing to enter the Landfall community on Friday, October 31, are registered on your owner guest list in gateaccess.net. To aid Landfall Security and to help ensure the safety of our community your pre-registration of your guests is required. If you need assistance registering your guests you may come by the Landfall COA Office and see one of our Receptionists, email your list to reception@landfall.org or call Security at (910) 256-5311. We will be happy to register your guests on your gateaccess.net profile for you. The best way to expedite entry for the convenience of your guests is to email or text them a QR code, so if you would like us to register your guests then you may want to provide us an email or phone number.
Be reminded that per the Landfall Rules and Regulations, each Resident in Landfall and CCL Members are responsible for the conduct of your guests and invitees while on Landfall property. This would include anyone that enters the community accompanying your authorized guest as well. In preparation for the Halloween festivities, it will be vital to your Landfall Security Team that all guest lists be updated. “Let-All-Ins” only slow down the process of entry for your guests and of Security registering your authorized guest to your property during a busy influx of visiting traffic into the community.
Additional Safety Rules & Reminders
Please remember that no food or beverage vehicles, trucks, or carts are permitted to be parked on any of the Shared Common Areas (SCA), including the streets throughout the community, which must be kept open. Please be sure to properly dispose of your trash and not litter our streets. Also, no loud music should be played from the SCA. For the complete Rules and Regulations, including item 24. HALLOWEEN GUIDELINES POLICY, you may click here.
When driving through the Landfall community on Halloween night, please exercise extreme caution as there will be additional pedestrians and vehicles throughout the community. Children and adults alike may be darting in and out of traffic during trick-or-treating hours, as well as crossing the street between parked vehicles.
As always, if you have a situation that requires the Wilmington Police Department’s (WPD) presence, please call 911. To assist you in when to contact the WPD and when to contact Landfall Security, please click here.
Please remember to always be respectful of everyone in our community as you make your plans for Halloween and the weekend thereafter. The safety of our residents, guests and staff is very important, so please adhere to Security’s direction and Stay Safe! If you do have questions, please contact the LCOA at (910) 256-7651 or Landfall Security at (910) 256-5311.
We appreciate your understanding and support,
Your Landfall COA
