Hello Landfall Residents,

As we approach Halloween in Landfall, please allow us to provide some helpful information if you plan to visit the Harborway Drive area for trick-or-treating this year.

Historically the area surrounding Harborway Drive has been the most popular and congested area during the Halloween celebrations in Landfall. If you are planning to attend the festivities in this area, please plan to walk, carpool, and/or park on nearby streets first, to avoid the congestion on Harborway Drive. The surrounding streets recommended for parking are Forest Lagoon Place, Deepwood Drive, Stillwater Place and Moreland Drive with access to Harborway via the Landfall Lake walking trail. If you do park on Harborway Drive, parking is first come, first serve and on one side of the street only. Landfall Security will be present to aid with traffic control and to help keep traffic flowing in this area, as well as to assist with parking. Please ensure that you do not park on anyone’s private property. Please keep your tires on the pavement and do not block driveways.

Please remember that no food or beverage vehicles, trucks, or carts are permitted to be parked on any of the Shared Common Areas (SCA), including the streets throughout the community, which must be kept open. Please be sure to properly dispose of your trash and not litter our streets. Also, no loud music should be played from the SCA. For the complete Rules and Regulations, including item 24. HALLOWEEN GUIDELINES POLICY, you may click here.

When driving through the Landfall community on Halloween night, please exercise extreme caution as there will be additional pedestrians and vehicles throughout the community. Children and adults alike may be darting in and out of traffic during trick-or-treating hours, as well as crossing the street between parked vehicles.

If you wish to have your children participate in trick-or-treating this October 31, please do so within the hours of 5:30pm and 8:00pm. If you will be providing treats, please make sure that your garage and porch lights are on. If you do not wish to participate, please keep your garage and porch lights off. Anyone participating in the Halloween festivities must respect the property and privacy of those residents who are not. In Landfall, one of the most valued characteristics of the community is quiet enjoyment.

Please remember to always be respectful of everyone in our community as you make your plans for Halloween and the weekend thereafter. The safety of our residents, guests and staff is very important, so please adhere to Security’s direction and Stay Safe! If you do have questions, please contact the LCOA at (910) 256-7651 or Landfall Security at (910) 256-5311.

We appreciate your understanding and support,

Your Landfall COA
