A Word From the Chief

May 30, 2018

An important message from Chris Adam, Chief of Security

I would like to make you aware of some recent vehicle break-ins and one instance of an unlawful entry into an open garage that occurred sometime late last night through early this morning, Wednesday, May 30.  These events took place in the 1800 block of Odyssey Drive, Gleneagles Lane, and Verrazzano Drive as well as Medeira Court.

Reported items missing include a checkbook, loose change, power tools and a set of golf clubs.  Reports received so far, indicate that these vehicles were left outside and unlocked.

The Wilmington Police Department has been notified and is currently investigating. We are urging everyone to check their vehicles and property as soon as possible.  If you notice your vehicle or property was unlawfully entered into, recall any activity or have information that may relate to this matter, please contact the Wilmington Police Department by calling 910-343-3600 and Landfall Security at 910-256-5311.

Please be reminded to secure your homes and vehicles as well as keep valuables locked up and out of sight.

Thank you.
