Hello Landfall Residents,

Recently, the Landfall Council of Associations (LCOA) sent an email out to the Landfall Community about the theft of political signs from residents’ property. We are disappointed to report that over the last couple of weeks, unfortunately, this behavior persists. While this may seem to be a small act to support your candidate or a joke, it is still considered trespass on private property and stealing, neither of which are acceptable, neighborly or patriotic behaviors.

We understand that emotions run high during election season. Nonetheless, the proper authorities will be contacted to address anyone caught participating in such illegal activities. Official police reports have been filed in several of these cases and we appreciate those of you that have provided information and video footage to the Wilmington Police Department (WPD) as they work to locate the individuals responsible.

Please remind all of your family members, as well as authorized guests and vendors, that these acts are illegal. If you witness or have video of such offenses, see anything suspicious on your property or in your area, please call Wilmington Police Department (WPD) at (910) 343-3600 or call 911 immediately and contact Landfall Security at (910) 256-5311. In this way, your concerns may be addressed formally and in the proper manner. It is imperative that we receive these reports at the time of the occurrence if at all possible. If only calling WPD, they will alert Landfall Security that they are in route and we will report to the scene as well.

Thank you in advance for helping put an immediate stop to these unacceptable and illegal acts of trespass and theft in our community.

And, as always, we appreciate your support and are here when you need us!

Thank you,

Chief Clements & Your Landfall Security Team
