Hello Landfall Residents,
I hope this email finds you all doing well and looking forward to the upcoming spring season! It has been a long dreary winter here in Landfall, so extended daylight hours and warmer temps are certainly welcome thoughts at this time of year. As we transition into the new season, please allow me to provide a few helpful reminders.
GATES
Please be aware that the Drysdale gate closes at 6:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday and is closed all day on Sundays to vehicles without bar codes. Please make sure to notify your guests or delivery drivers to avoid any unnecessary delays or inconvenience. The new guest authorization system seems to be up and running smoothly and my hope is that you all are finding this a helpful and beneficial tool. Please let us know if you are having any issues as we want this to be a valuable resource to our residents.
ROADS
I have received a number of complaints of folks passing vehicles that are going the speed limit on our roads in Landfall. Please know that this is a safety hazard and only becomes more dangerous at this time of year as more residents are out riding their bikes and walking throughout the community. If you see something that is creating a safety concern, please contact the Security staff and make us aware so that we may address this as timely as possible.
SCAMS
Finally, it is unfortunate that scammers use big headlines like the upcoming next round of government stimulus checks to take advantage of people, but they do. Please be aware and remind your friends and loved ones not to share personal information over the phone. The IRS will not call to confirm your account numbers for direct deposit or ask if you would like to add or link a new account. If we ensure that we do not give anyone any confidential information, then hopefully we will avoid falling victim to such crimes. I’ve told my parents to have the caller contact me and I would love to talk to them!
