Hello Landfall Residents,

As we begin to feel the effects of Tropical Storm Isaias, we must remember that he is expected to strengthen slightly, increasing to a Category 1 Hurricane, upon his approach. With that being said, we encourage you to ensure that you have taken all precautions necessary to keep you, your family, and your home safe and secure.

As you know, these storms are unpredictable, and things can change quickly, so know that we are doing our part to stay informed, and so should you. In the event we receive a significant amount of rainfall, please be aware that this may force insects, reptiles, and wildlife out of their natural habitat, and into yours.

We ask that you please remain off of the roadways during and immediately following the storm unless it is an emergency. In the event that you encounter a flooded section of the road, please turn around and do not attempt to go through these areas or drive across your neighbor’s lawn or common area property.

As with any of these storm events, we may experience power outages and communication outages. Please contact Duke Energy at 800-419-6356 to report power outages. As long as we have communication ability, the COA will continue any further post-storm instructions and promptly inform you of the roadway evaluation throughout the community.

Thank you all in advance for your cooperation and assistance.

Please be safe,

Landfall COA
