Dear Landfall Residents,
First and foremost, we hope this email finds you and your family healthy and safe. Our relationship with you is essential, and we want to thank you for your loyalty and patience as we all confront and adjust through today’s challenges together.
As of Friday, May 8th, 2020 at 5:00 p.m., the State of North Carolina will modify our Stay at Home order with Executive Order No.138. This order will transition us into Phase 1, slowly easing certain restrictions associated with COVID-19. While this is an encouraging step forward, we must still remain cautious as we move through the days ahead. With that being said, we hope that everyone has enjoyed being able to visit the Drysdale Recreation site since the soft opening on April 29th. We appreciate your support in adhering to the social distancing requirements and the limited access of this area. We anticipate the same support as we move into Phase 1, beginning today at 5:00 p.m., as we will go one step further and open the basketball and volleyball courts. The recreation site will continue to be accessible to Residents Only and will not permit team sports. The new order still limits everyone to groups of 10 or fewer people while requiring safe social distancing within your groups.
Please be aware that the recreation facility restrooms and the playground equipment will remain closed until further notice. According to the government order, these areas may promote the increased spread of COVID-19, and therefore, in the best interest of all will remain closed. Landfall COA and Security staff will be monitoring this area on a routine basis, and in the event that social distancing is not being complied with, we will be forced to close the recreation site until all government orders are lifted.
The Landfall COA will continue our current business operations through the end of Phase 1. Our Administrative office will remain available by prior appointment only, with limited on-site staff. Landfall Security is continually manning our gates, patrolling our community, and performing house checks. You may continue to contact Security as needed by calling (910) 256-5311.
We must all remain conscious of our own health while being mindful of our surroundings and sensitive to others. We encourage everyone to follow government recommendations instructing us all to wear face coverings while out in public, wash our hands frequently, and remain 6 feet apart from others outside of our household. We have come a long way on this journey and are daily combating the spread of this virus. Let’s keep up the good fight!
