NCDOT Traffic Shift

Hello Landfall Residents, 

The NCDOT announced that traffic on Military Cutoff Road between Gordon Road and Market Street will soon shift to a new ramp. This traffic shift is tentatively scheduled to take place on Tuesday, December 17, and is part of the ongoing Military Cutoff Road extension that will eventually connect with the future Hampstead Bypass.

The shift will involve two lanes in each direction on Military Cutoff Road, and temporary traffic signals at each location will be activated for the new ramp. The traffic shift is needed so that crews can begin work on the Market Street overpass. You can click here to read the NCDOT press release.
