Dear Landfall Residents,

 As you are aware, the City of Wilmington is currently working through the process of updating the Land Development Code (LDC). Drafts of the various articles of the code are being released at regular intervals, generally on a monthly basis. You may click the following link to visit the dedicated website for the LDC, where you may review summaries, as well as the full drafts of all articles released to date.

 You will find the published articles under “Important Links” located at the top right of the LDC web page. To date, they have released an annotated table of contents for the new LDC draft along with drafts for Article 2: Zoning Districts, Article 3: Use Standards, Article 4: Environmental Regulations, Article 6: Subdivisions, Article 7: Administrative Provisions and Article 8: Measurements and Definitions.

 Please note as you review the articles, that a comment section is provided at the bottom of each article’s web page. All comments received will be compiled for discussion with the Planning Commission at upcoming work sessions.

 Furthermore, the City of Wilmington Planning Commission will hold a public meeting on Wednesday August 5, 2020 at 6:00 pm at the Wilmington Convention Center, 10 Convention Center Dr., Wilmington, NC. Due to public health and safety concerns from COVID-19, public participation may be limited. 

The agenda includes a request to modify the existing conditional district to allow for spas and health clubs as a permitted use at 400 Arboretum Drive; located just outside our gates, across Military Cutoff Road in the Arboretum West development.
