Dear Landfall Residents,
We hope this email finds you and your family happy and healthy. While it has been quite some time since we have spoken on this subject, we have now advanced into the next phase of the Governor’s orders related to the COVID-19 pandemic, which has challenged all of us in different ways over the majority of this year.
As of Friday, September 4th, 2020 at 5:00 p.m., the State of North Carolina has revised the latest order in responding to the COVID-19 Pandemic with Executive Order NO. 163. This revision will continue to slowly ease some of the restrictions set forth in previous orders.
With that being said, we are happy to announce that the playground equipment located at the Drysdale Drive recreational facility will be open for our residents to enjoy beginning tomorrow at 5:00 p.m.! We appreciate your support in continuing to adhere to the social distancing requirements while utilizing this area. The recreation site will continue to be accessible to Residents Only and will not permit team sports. The new order still requires safe social distancing within your groups and face coverings when safe distancing is not an option.
Please be aware that the recreation facility restrooms will remain closed until further notice. According to the government order, these areas may promote the increased spread of COVID-19, and therefore, in the best interest of all will remain closed.
Landfall COA and Security staff will be monitoring this area on a routine basis, and in the event that social distancing is not being complied with, we will be forced to close the recreation site until all government orders are lifted.
