Social Groups
Landfall residents enjoy a very active club schedule.
The Great Oaks Club is a women’s club that meets monthly and presents a variety of thoughtful programs throughout the year. Lunch Bunch is another very popular women’s club. Each week, fellow Club members gather together to meet a new face or catch up with an old friend, while enjoying a delicious luncheon and a pleasant afternoon.
Bridge and Maj-Jonng players have many opportunities to hone their skills at Landfall. There are numerous groups that play at varying times and places. Especially convenient for new residents, there is a regularly scheduled game held each week at the Landfall Clubhouse that offers all day play and a luncheon and is open to all who are interested. Bridge seminars, such as Jerry Helms, are always well-attended events.
The very popular Wine Club is open to all Country Club of Landfall members. In addition to regularly scheduled wine tastings, the Wine Club holds several gourmet dinners throughout the year. Members have the privilege of purchasing wine at a discount that they may take home or store in the Club’s wine cellar to be enjoyed at any time while dining at the club.
There are also many opportunities to join any of several book clubs or take advantage of the lending library in the Ladies 19th Hole.
