Weather
Wilmington's weather is unbeatable. Winters tend to be mild with the occasional “beach-day” or a rare dusting of snow. Spring starts early with daffodils blooming in the beginning of February and azaleas exploding in mid-March. Summer is a long, luxurious season and beachgoers can be found sunning themselves as early as April and as late as October. Fall approaches appropriately around Thanksgiving-time and doesn’t relinquish to winter’s chilly nights until after the New Year.
So, although Wilmington celebrates all four seasons in a year, it has a perfect environment for year-round outdoor activity.
July is the warmest month with an average daily high of 89° F, and January is the coolest with an average daily high of 56° and low of
35° F.
